Windows 7 + Print Spooler

While printing some photos for family, i ran out of ink halfway through the print job, as there were a few items in the spooler, i thought i'd cancel them, replace the ink and restart the printing.

Getting the ink change was a doddle, but geting the jobs removed from the queue was a right pain.  No matter what i tried i couldn't get them deleted, so i did it the old fashioned way and deleted them via command line

net stop spooler
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.shd
del %systemroot%\system32\spool\printers\*.spl
net start spooler

Restart printing, Bobs your uncle.....:)
